yesterday was a day that i got on the internet on jumped from blog to blog to blog. i found some old friends that i haven't heard anything about since high school, an old next door neighbor (dusty), and an old pottery friend (tyler). i found lots of yummy recipes i want to try, especially cinnamon rolls. and i checked out more blogs. it's amazing who you can find when you just jump around.
so i called my friend megan and we got together and had us a good ol' time. we made some salsa with fresh garden tomatoes from my mom and my mother in law. then we went to her house and made cinnamon rolls. she has a recipe from her mom, that was so stinkin' good! i haven't had home made cinnamon rolls forever! it was definetly worth the wait... this was the end product. (sorry the picture is crappy, i took it with my cell phone).

we had a new neighbor move into the school house next door. her name is allison and she is from idaho. she teaches english/spanish at the high school up here. anyway she has one of the coolest dogs ever. it's a boxer and his name is dallas. he loves to come over and play with our lab, libby. they run circles around the yard. and jaxon likes to chase them in his little gator jeep. but he is the nicest dog. he doesn't jump, he hardly barks, and he likes attention. but any way i let both dogs in my house the other day cuz it was raining really hard outside and dallas decided he wanted to take over tony's recliner.

and in other news, brigham city had it's annual peach days festivites. there were parades, rides, lots of cotton candy! my sister talked me into letting her put jaxon in the kiddie parade on friday night. so anyway, she had a friend come up that has a little boy a little older than jaxon. so we took the red rider wagon down and decorated it. and on friday night my sister, jaxon, nicole, and mitchell threw out tootsie roll candies to the crowd.
then on saturday morning was the big parade. it started at 10 and didn't get over till like 12:30. it was way too long this year. there used to be lots of floats and fun things. now it's all trucks with people on the flat bed trailers. a few floats. and many freaks. why do things like this always bring out the freaks? man there are some definete weird-o's in brigham.

me and my fantastic hubby
me and mom
so my mom just told me some great news today! she only has four treatments left. granted its really spread apart. but it will still be like two more months when it's all said and done. but it is still great news! i am so proud of her. she has been doing so good! she doesn't have much energy but she tries so hard to go about life. i love you mom! you are my hero!
over this crazy peach days weekend, my brother and his wife and their little rani; came out from delaware. it was so good to see them! i can't believe how much rani is talking. in april when i was visiting them, she hardly said a word and now she can say lots of things. we only got this one picture of the two of them so just beware... it is in the tub...

rani and jaxon
any way... that's about it. nothing to exciting. but we sure have had fun....
