bear lake, relay, and softball

so ya i really suck at keeping this updated! i think about it all the time, but i never do anything about it. well i can't remember all that has happened in the last like 3 weeks so i will just tell about a few things.

we went to bear lake with my family. we left on friday and came home sunday. it was sooo nice to get out the valley for a few days. we stayed at my grandpa's cabin and just relaxed. it was the perfect thing to do after some not so fun days. saturday we went down to the lake and played. my parents came up saturday morning. my dumb dog chewed up all of jaxon's sand shovels and buckets that we bought him last year, so he took his dump trucks to play in the sand with. he absolutely loved it! he and my mom played forever filling the trucks up and then "driving" them over to another spot to dump them. they even made the "beep beep beep" sound like a truck does when it backs up. and i am so proud of my dad, cuz he actually got in the water and floated around on a floaty thing. he is not a big water person, so that was big for him. my mom was so worried about him. if you were to walk out to where he was floating, it was only like thigh deep. but mom is a little OCD about alot of stuff now, with good reason. but everytime he would start floating the other way, my mom was like "kim, go get your dad!" she even played in the water for a little while. even though she isn't supposed to be in any sun what so ever! it was alot of much needed fun. i am so grateful that we got a chance to be together and play. my sis came up on saturday afternoon and had fun playing with jaxon too. she loves him like he is her own. she is the best sis and aunt that i could have asked for.

another thing that has happened in the last few weeks...

relay for life. we went to brigham for my mom. her office had put together a team and we were on it. it was lots of fun to be with family, friends, and her bosses. by the end of the relay, i figured out that i walked about 16 miles. i was kinda sore the next day. not bad, just tender all over, especially my legs and feet. but well worth the cause. tony and i ended up walking when we weren't even supposed to but some people weren't doing it. kinda irratating. tony was such a great support that weekend. i pretty much left him in charge of jaxon so i could do my thing. we even took our dog libby over to walk about midnight and she walked with us till about 4:30 in the morning. i think she was a little sore too. tony was great to let me be with my mom and help her and be part of the team. thanks so much babe for all your help! you're the best!!

this is my dad, tony and jaxon, my sis, and my awesome mom!

one more thing... pioneer days softball tourney!

this was a fun weekend. tony and i put together a team that was so totally awesome! my friend ashley came up from brigham. and then pretty much everyone else was from up here and from our ward. we did so good! our first game we won 30-17; the second game we won 12-11 (a way better team than the first game); the third game we won like 3o-something to like twelve; and our fourth game we totally lost 20 something to like 7 (the same team from the second game). we could have played again, but we were all tired and some of the guys did the tri that morning. we probably would have taked third. the team we would have played was the team from the first game. if we could have won our fourth game, we could have played in the championship game. but it was still alot of fun. thanks to all who came to support us and that played! it was fun, and next year lets take first!!

that is pretty much what has happened the last few weeks. not alot, but enough to keep us busy. hope you all are doing well!

I have to agree, it does sound likek you've been up to a lot! I'm so excited that you've had some really good times with your family. Relay for Life sounds like it was fun, and definitely something worth doing! Did you cut your hair??
