playing catch up

so ya i just really suck at keeping this updated! i have been thinking about for the last 2 weeks, and just have not had the motivation to do anything about it..until now. i am sure you all are getting sick of this post from a month ago, so here is a new one.

first things first, the house... or lack there of... the bank has had our house plans for 6 weeks now and just barely told us that they need to see bids for the major stuff for like the foundation, framing, sheetrock, electrical, plumbing, appliances, shingles...you know the big stuff that costs thousands of dollars. so why in the crap didn't they tell us this 6 weeks ago? we could have had all these things done. and we could have been building by now. oh well, i guess you just have to go with the flow on these things.

well lets see, tony has been working lots at the mine still. he finally qualified on another job, so i think he only has one more job to learn for this area. he is still working shift work, and it freaking sucks! i hate grave yards! and in the mean time, he has been trying to get the house stuff worked out.

and jaxon graduated from pre-school like the end of may. he was so funny, he wouldn't sing any of the songs, and he pretty much looked down the whole time. he looked so small compared to some of the other kids. but thats okay, he is still cute. um, the beginning of may, i had to take jaxon to a pediatric dentist in farmington to have his teeth worked on. oh my gosh!!!!!! that's all i can say! what an experience. i hope i never have to do that again. they had to knock him out, that wasn't fun to watch, and the end result is 6 silver caps on his bottom teeth (the molars), 2 silver caps on the top (the molars again,1 on each side), 2 fillings, and then the 4 front teeth on top are white front/silver back caps. $3000 dollars later for teeth that are gonna fall out here in a few years. tony asked if we could bring the bling back when they fell out, they said no. so while jaxon was waking up,they bas ically told me everything i had done wrong as a parent. gee thanks. what a way to make a mom feel. buttheads. oh well, he did really well waking up, he didn't get sick or anything. in fact when we got back to my moms he asked for mac and cheese. of course he was still numb at this point, but he ate quite a bit. i am just glad we got it done. it needed to be, but man it was not a fun thing to go thru. so now when he smiles, you can see the bling on his lower teeth, its great!

as for me, i am just here. just been working at the busy bee a couple days a week still. and in the mean time trying to get stuff done for the house. we haven't even started building, and i am so done. i just wanna snap my fingers and it be done. good thought right? i really haven't been up to much, just same old, same old...

the past few days have been fun filled. tony's brother and his family are here from guam. they are in the process of moving to hawaii. it's been really fun to see them, it's been 2 years since the last time we saw them. i can't believe how big his kids are now. and how cute they are! yesterday we went crawdad fishing in a little pond in mt. view. oh my, it was the funniest thing ever! i didn't know what to expect cuz i had never done it. but it was actually pretty fun trying to catch these things. we put pieces of hot dogs on the ends of sticks and strings, and away we went. we caught like 12, i think. and the funniest part ever was when 2 of my nieces fell in the pond. oh it was so stinkin' funny, but oh so nasty. just imagine dirty fish pond water, trash, moss, and who knows what else... NaStY!!!! but it was fun none the less....

so anyways, thats about the gist of our fun the last month...i know there is more, but i can't remember it all. one day i will actually post something fun! and with pictures!

That stinks about Jacksons teeth. I have had a couple of friends who had to have their kids knocked out to get a bunch of fillings/cavities/silver teeth or what not. I agree with Tony - why so much if they just fall out?! LOL. But I have been pretty anal with brushing Anna's teeth/fluoride/dentist appointments so as to try and avoid it with her. Wish us luck! And I wish you guys luck with your house - I hope it goes quickly and smoothly!

That sucks that you are having to jump through hoops for your house, but I bet it will be worth it when it's done and it's yours! Sounds like that very expensive triip to the dentist was traumatic! Yikes! Hope you guys are doing good!
